| Josh Heidinger leads the Griffs against Air Force |
There are seven, count ‘em seven, home athletic events this weekend with something for every sports lover. It all begins Friday night with soccer; swimming, volleyball and hockey hosting out of town opponents on Halloween and a trio of events concluding action on Sunday. Soccer and volleyball are fighting for post-season bids, swimming is hosting their first meet of the year and hockey is taking on the three time defending conference champs (and preseason favorite) Air Force.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, October 30
Men’s Soccer vs. Marist – 7 p.m., Demske Sports ComplexSaturday, October 31 (Trick or Treat)
M/W Swim vs. Gannon – Noon, Koessler Athletic Center
Volleyball vs. Rider – 2 p.m., Koessler Athletic Center
Hockey vs. Air Force – 3 p.m., Buffalo State Sports Arena
Wear a costume and get a free piece of candy at the door. Also the St. Joe’s Pep Band performs the new Griffin Fight Song.Sunday, November 1
