Today’s Cyber Security Month Tip – Secure Portable Devices
Don’t leave laptops, smartphones, or personal digital assistant’s (PDA) unattended, even for “just a second.” Over 12,000 laptops are lost in airports alone every year, and two-thirds of those are never recovered. If portable devices such as laptops must be left in a public space, physically secure it with a Kensington-style lock and cable.
