The Golden Griffin women’s soccer team will wrap up its regular season this weekend with a pair of crucial home games. Canisius meets Fairfield Friday (October 28) at 7 p.m. before hosting Iona at 1 p.m. on Sunday (October 30).
Friday’s game is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness night. The Golden Griffins will auction off their game worn pink uniforms to the highest bidders following the game. The event will also feature a raffle and bake sale. All proceeds raised will be donated towards breast cancer awareness. Sunday’s game will be the final home game for six Golden Griffin seniors.
Canisius heads into the final weekend of conference play tied with Fairfield for the fourth and final playoff spot. Iona currently sits in third place two points ahead of the Griffs.
