Dynamic Workshop Looks At Hip Hop Culture

A workshop entitled “Hip Hope! Creative Ways to Use Aspects of Hip Hop Culture and Its Music for Positive Creative Expression” will take place Wednesday (October 19) from 6 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. in Regis South.  The event is free of charge and everyone is invited to attend.

This interactive workshop examines the ways in which elements of Hip Hop culture and its music can be used as a positive mechanism to stimulate socio-cultural and political thought.  Presenters of the event are David Blackburn, director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs & International Student Affairs at Niagara University, and Tara Jabbaar-Gyambrah, PhD, director of multicultural affairs at Hilbert College.
