The science behind hockey helmets and how they keep players safe will be discussed at the next Physics Café lecture on Monday (October 17) at 3 p.m. in Horan-O’Donnell, Room 103.  The lecture, entitled “Biomechanical Concerns in Certification Standards for Ice Hockey Helmets” will be led by Karl Kozlowski, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology.  All are welcome to attend.

The Physics Cafe is a periodic gathering in the Department of Physics to discuss and learn about topics related to physics, engineering, and science.
