Hockey Hosts Mercyhurst This Friday

As the Atlantic Hockey season nears its conclusion, the games begin to take on more meaning and none may be more pivotal to the Griffs post-season success than this weekend’s battles with Mercyhurst College.  The Griffs host the Lakers on Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Buffalo State Ice Arena before heading to Erie, PA for a Saturday night clash, also at 7 p.m.

With six games to play, the Griffs trail Mercyhurst by one point for the final home ice playoff spot.  Heading into this weekend’s play, Sacred Heart sits in third with 27 points, the Lakers have 26 and the Griffs have 25.

Also, congratulations are in order to Jason Weeks (pictured), who became the Griffs all-time leading goal scorer in Division I history this past weekend as Canisius swept Connecticut.

Periodic Review Report Forum 3

All faculty and staff are invited to participate in a Periodic Review Report forum on Wednesday, February 17 from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Richard E. Winter ‘42 Student Center Conference Room, Room 205.  The theme for the discussion will be “Section 4: Enrollment and Finance – Trends and Projections, and Section 6: Linked Institutional Planning and Budgeting Processes.”

Attendees will be presented with a snapshot of expected enrollment trends and financial projections, and then learn about how the planning and budgeting processes are becoming more integrated.

Digital Day 2010 February 19

February Educational Technology Tutorial Coming

This month’s educational technology tutorial is “Podcasting for your Announcement Area or Course” which will be held Tuesday, February 23 at 11:30 a.m. and Thursday, February 25 at 3:30 p.m.  It is one of the many free educational technology tutorials available covering an array of helpful tools that advance student learning.  They are conducted completely on-line, via a Web conferencing system.
