ArtsCanisius Presents Two Recitals Next Week
ArtsCanisius presents a Meet-the-Faculty Recital on Monday, February 8 at Noon in the Montante Cultural Center featuring cellist Bryan Eckenrode, pianist Jane Cary and guest soprano Cristen Gregory. From the most famous of the suites for cello by Bach to the Jazzy 20th century work of Agron Minsky, the program offers something for everyone. Admission is free.
On Tuesday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center, ArtsCanisius presents an Informally-Formal recital featuring Anna Mattix, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra oboist and English hornist, with Paul Ferington, piano; Paul Schlossman, oboe; and Christine Ford, oboe. They will perform works by Beethoven, Donizetti, Harris, Koechlin, Morricone and Siegrist. Tickets are $15 general admission, $7 students.
