The Tutoring Center is proud to announce a new electronic recording system for the tutoring and supplemental instruction sessions.  The system allows the student to swipe in, choose a course in which he/she is seeking help, and then receive assistance from a peer tutor or one of the adjunct professors on staff.  Following the session, the tutor provides detailed feedback regarding the sessions.  Any information that may be beneficial to the course is then shared with the instructor through a weekly report sent via Email highlighting the students who came to the center, as well as any feedback obtained.

The Tutoring Center has also set a finalized tutoring schedule for all the academic disciplines for the spring semester.  A hardcopy of the availability has been sent to the academic departments and the entire schedule is available on line here.

The Tutoring Center is open every Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Fridays from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. and Sundays from 6 – 10 p.m.  The center houses a variety of services including individual and group tutoring located in Old Main 317; a quiet study environment located in Old Main 318; and a supplemental instruction program designed for ACC, BIO, and CHM courses.  Supplemental instruction for BIO/CHM is held in Old Main 314 Sundays – Thursdays from 6-10 p.m.  Also, one-on-one academic mentoring is available by appointment.
