It’s “Hoop and Scoop” Saturday as the Canisius women’s basketball team hosts Loyola at 4 pm on Anderson’s Ice Cream Day in the KAC. Anderson’s will be providing free ice cream immediately after the game to all fans. It’s also National Girls and Women in Sports Day with several local Girl Scout Troops planning to attend the contest. You won’t want to miss halftime as we conduct our second annual scavenger hunt.
As for the hoops, your women’s team remains in the thick of the MAAC race for a first round tourney bye. Saturday’s game tips off a short two game homestand with Rider coming to town on Monday night.
