The annual Battle of the Bridge competition resumes tonight (April 18) when the Golden Griffin women’s lacrosse team faces a must-win situation against MAAC rival Niagara. Game time at the Demske Sports Complex is slated for 7 p.m.
The Griffs are facing a crucial game versus the Purple Eagles, needing a victory to stay in the hunt for a MAAC Tourney playoff berth. Canisius is the defending champ and will host the event April 27 and 29 at the Demske Sports Complex.
The Griffs trail in the annual Battle of the Bridge competition, but can still win the Cup depending on the spring performances of lacrosse, softball, golf and baseball.
