Canisius Commemorates 9/11 Anniversary
The Canisius Quadrangle was adorned with 2,977 American flags over the weekend to honor each of the lives lost in the September 11 terrorist attacks. College Republicans organized the flag memorial to coincide with the Young America’s Foundation 9/11: Never Forget Project. The flags will be on display until today (September 12).

The somber anniversary of the deadly terror attacks was also remembered in the Prayer of the Faithful, during Sunday morning and evening Masses at Christ the King Chapel.
Canisius Public Safety Officer Nathan Billings was one of 10 volunteers who helped place flags in the Quad.
