Office Ergonomics – Use A Keyboard Support System

Why use a keyboard support system?  Placing a keyboard on a keyboard/mouse support system is one of the most important components of a healthy ergonomic workstation and can protect employees from a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.  Because our bodies follow our hands, when the keyboard sits on a desktop, employees have a tendency to lean forward to reach it.  This leads to aches in the wrists, arms, back and neck.  Using an articulating keyboard system helps support comfortable, efficient posture.

For a workstation assessment, contact Dave Teloh at Ext. 2338.
