Canisius College’s 11th annual Fall Service Recognition Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 11 at 3 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. This ceremony acknowledges the contributions of all faculty, staff and administrators who have reached their fifth, 10th and 15th anniversaries of service.
President John J. Hurley congratulated Jennifer A. Desiderio, PhD, assistant professor, English, on her five years of service at the 2010 Fall ceremony.

The Print Shop encourages faculty and staff to take advantage of the huge savings by ordering departmental envelopes and letterhead today (September 23). The cost of 1,000 #10 envelopes is $69; after September 23, the cost jumps to $95 for the same quantity. Also, any envelope larger than six inches will exceed the standard postage rate of $.44.

Mezzo-soprano Melissa Thorburn and guitarist Richard Falkenstein will perform a Meet-the-Faculty recital on Monday (September 26) at noon in the Montante Cultural Center. Their program is entitled “Fleeting Pleasures” and features works by Campion, Dowland, Rutter, Schubert and several American folk songs. Admission is free. For more information check here.

The Media Center and ITS staff would appreciate being alerted to any malfunctioning or missing equipment in a classroom. Whenever equipment is removed by staff, a notification Email is sent to the faculty teaching in that room and/or a replacement unit is installed to take its place. Anyone who notices something malfunctioning or missing from a classroom should contact the ITS Help Desk at Ext. 8340.
