Commuter Student Of The Year Award Nominations Sought

The Office of Campus Programming & Leadership Development (CPLD) is now accepting nominations for the Commuter Student of the Year award.  Please review the selection criteria and nominate any deserving commuter student by filling out and returning a nomination form to the Office of Campus Programming & Leadership Development.  A list of criteria and nomination forms are available in the CPLD office or online here.

Nominations are due by Friday, April 15, 2011 at 5 p.m.

Men’s Lacrosse Kicks Off Break With Home Game

The Canisius College men’s lacrosse team hosts new MAAC member Jacksonville University at Noon on Saturday (March 19) at the Demske Sports Complex.  The Griffs are led by preseason MAAC Player of the Year, Adam Jones.  Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Ext. 2885.

Digital Mind Quest Reading Group: Today & Tomorrow

The Digital Mind Quest brown bag lunch reading group meets today (March 16) and tomorrow (March 17) at noon in the Student Conference Room.  Light refreshments will be served.

This month’s topic is “Pen and Paper vs. the Laptop: Note taking in the Classroom.”  Readings are posted in the Online Learning Community (OLC) website and in the MS Word document located here.  It is not necessary to attend both sessions and participants should select the session that best fits their schedule.
