Chorale To Perform At Holy Trinity Church In Niagara Falls

The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will continue its 2010-2011 Sacred Spaces concert series with a performance on Monday (May 2) at 7:30 p.m. in Historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street in Niagara Falls, NY.  The program is free and open to the public, and will feature works of Mendelssohn, Lotti, Lauridsen, Bernstein, Dawson and others.

Sacred Spaces stems from an idea the choir proposed six years ago to feature its music in some of Western New York’s most beautiful and acoustically resonant environments – namely, the sanctuaries of our region’s present and former churches. As a result, the choir has visited nearly 30 houses of worship with its repertoire of sacred and secular music spanning five centuries.
