Canisius College earned a spot among the top part-time MBA schools in the 2012 edition of Best Graduate Schools by U.S. News Media Group. Highlights of the rankings will be published in the Best Graduate Schools 2012 edition book, available on newsstands April 5, 2011.
U.S. News’s part-time MBA ranking is based solely on a fall 2010 peer assessment survey that asked business school deans and MBA program directors at each of the nation’s 295 part-time MBA programs to rate the other part-time programs.
U.S. News defines a part-time MBA program as being at an AACSB-accredited school with at least 20 students enrolled part time in both fall 2009 and fall 2010. A part-time MBA program must meet the two-year enrollment and accreditation standard to be included in the ranking.
“We are proud to be included in this ranking which further emphasizes the high quality of a business education from Canisius College,” said Antone F. Alber, PhD, dean of the Wehle School of Business. “This achievement is a testament to the caliber of our faculty who continue to prepare our graduates for today’s challenges and opportunities.”
