The WNY Writing Project is holding a special event, titled Mind, Body, Spirit: Celebrating Poetry and the Arts. These workshops will be held on Saturday, April 9, from 8:30 am until noon. All events will be held in Lyons Hall and Maday Theater.
This event is open to the entire community, and fuses writing poetry with the arts for a good cause. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from three different creative writing workshops incorporating percussion performance, photography, and artwork to help express themselves on paper. All proceeds from this event will be donated to WNY Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
