Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Academic Computing Advisory Committee (ACAC) meeting on Wednesday, March 2, from 2 – 3 pm in the Library Instruction Room on the main floor of the library. The meeting will feature two presentations. Joel Cohen, PhD., associate vice president for library and information services, will present an overview of plans for the library, including new compact shelving to be installed this summer as well as configuration of space to include more academic services. Rick Mancuso, of Prentice Office Environments will demonstrate the Eno board, an electronic whiteboard currently installed in the Library Instruction Room. In addition to the presentations, there will be announcements from ITS and the library, and an opportunity for discussion of current technology issues on campus.
For those unable to attend the ENO board demonstration at 2 p.m., Mancuso will give a second presentation at 3:15 pm. Faculty, in particular, are invited to take a look at this board as well as other classroom furniture from Prentice, which can be considered for installation in learning spaces in Science Hall. No reservations are necessary.
