Conlon To Resign Effective June 30

Scott Chadwick, PhD, vice president for academic affairs, announced today that Jill Conlon, associate vice president for enrollment management, has resigned her position effective June 30, 2010.  Jill will be consulting with Noel-Levitz, Inc, an enrollment consulting organization based in Colorado and Iowa.  Jill will use her 28 years of experience in enrollment management to consult with a variety of clients on recruitment, marketing and communication strategies.

“Jill’s seven years as associate vice president at Canisius have seen record high application numbers, increasingly competitive student profiles, and steady progress in increasing our average net tuition revenue,” Chadwick said.  Conlon led an Integrated Marketing Communication Task Force that enhanced the marketing activities across campus and put the quality of the academic experience front-and-center of the “Canisius story.”

“We have accomplished a great deal in a challenging environment where every institution competes for more talented students and more tuition revenue,” said Conlon.  “The college is positioned well to continue progress toward its goal to become more broadly recognized in the region and is fortunate to have an exceptionally talented enrollment team in place, dedicated to the mission and goals of Canisius College.  I will miss the many wonderful colleagues at Canisius and will follow with great interest the continued successes that will be achieved here.”

Chadwick expects to announce shortly a transition plan to address Conlon’s departure.  Please join us in wishing Jill well.
