The 2024 Grading Conference, organized by various higher education institutions across the US and based in California, is now open for registration! This online Conference is from June 13th to 15th, from 11:00AM to 6:00PM EST daily. The Grading Conference centers around alternative grading methods. From the information page:
The Grading Conference is a place where faculty join together to learn about grading practices that best support student learning, promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the classroom, and enhance student and faculty classroom experiences. Now in its fifth year, the purpose of the conference is to support instructors as they strive to challenge traditional grading practices that have been shown to be damaging to students and their learning. 1
