As part of our Technology in Teaching & Learning Initiative, the Center for Online Learning & Innovation is focused on new ways to teach and learn that are more practical, reliable, and time-efficient for faculty. Here are just some of our new workshops taking place on campus and online this Fall:
- Google Apps Workshop: Deliver and Accept Files With Your Class: Faculty can use Google Drive to quickly share files with students, collect video assignments, and create classroom activities and assessments built around student collaboration.
- BYOD Session: Google Cardboard in the Classroom: Professors will discover ways that students can explore parts of the world through low-cost, interactive 3D technology using common smartphones.
- Google Apps Workshop: Screencasting with Screencast-o-Matic & YouTube: Faculty can communicate with students in engaging, easy-to-record videos, from simply weekly reminder messages to complex digital tool demonstrations.
