All faculty, staff and students are invited to the Porter Farms presentation Friday, October 2 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Regis North to discuss organic farming and community supported agriculture. Porter Farms is a certified organic farm located in Elba, NY. The farm, owned and operated by the Porter family for over 50 years, has been NOFA-NY certified organic since 1990.
Porter Farms will discuss what it means to be an organic farm and how to determine if the produce you are purchasing is truly organic. They will also discuss why they chose to be an organic farm.
