First Informally-Formal Chamber Recital of the Season

Amelie Fradette, cellist, BPO

The September 29 recital features Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra musicians Amelie Fradette, cello and Loren Silvertrust, violin, along with Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus pianist, Susan Schuman, in a dynamic program featuring Astor Piazolla’s “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires,” American composer Paul Schoenfield’s trio “Café Music,” and Dmitry Shostakovich’s Trio No. 2 in e minor, “Opus 67.”

Tickets are $15 general admission; $7 for students and can be purchased by calling the Fine Arts Office at 888-2542, online at www.canisius.edu/artscanisius-tickets, or at the door.

New Marketing Campaign

Faculty, staff and students are invited to a sneak preview of the college’s new marketing campaign tomorrow, September 30 and Thursday, October 1.  The previews will take place in Palisano Pavilion and are scheduled from 12:00-1:00 p.m. and 3:00-4:00 p.m. both days.  Stop in to learn about our new marketing strategies and see new advertising that will debut in October.

Women’s Soccer Home on Wednesday Afternoon

Your Golden Griffin women’s soccer team will host Marist at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The game opens a two game home-stand for the Griffs and is also the conference home opener for Coach Todd Clark’s squad.

Congratulations and Good Luck to Patty Grasso
