Desire2Learn and Qualtrics can Replace Scantron Exams

For decades, instructors have used Scantron for quizzes, exams and surveys. But recently, web-based technologies have appeared that can save instructors the time and trouble of managing Scantron assessment, while offering more options such as question randomization and instant grading.

On Friday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m., Mark Gallimore will conduct a workshop to teach faculty how to build a quiz or exam using Desire2Learn’s on-board Quizzes. The tool offers a variety of improvements over traditional, paper-based assessments.

On Friday, October 16, at 1:00 p.m., Mark will host a workshop to introduce Qualtrics, a powerful but easy to use online survey application, ideal for a variety of survey or data collection projects.

Sign up for either of these workshops here. You can reach Mark at Ext. 8353 for any questions about Qualtrics or Desire2Learn.
