Amelie Fradette, cellist

Join us for the first Informally-Formal Chamber Recital of the 2015-16 season on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. These recitals provide an intimate setting in which Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) musicians share their favorite chamber works through stories and music. A selection of cheese, crackers, sweets, coffee and tea are available during the concerts.

The September 29 recital features BPO musicians Amelie Fradette, cello and Loren Silvertrust, violin, along with Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus pianist Susan Schuman in a dynamic program featuring Astor Piazolla’s “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires,” American composer Paul Schoenfield’s trio “Café Music,” and Dmitry Shostakovich’s Trio No. 2 in e minor, “Opus 67.”

Tickets are $15 general admission; $7 for students and can be purchased by calling the Fine Arts Office at 888-2542, online at www.canisius.edu/artscanisius-tickets, or at the door.
