ArtsCanisius presents the first music lecture of the 2011-12 season today (September 20) at 2:30 p.m. in the Regis Room. James Davis, PhD, professor of musicology at the State University of New York, Fredonia will give a lecture, entitled “Military Bands and the Intersection of Communities During the American Civil War.” The lecture is and is free and open to the public.
