Soup With Substance Features Latin Jazz Project

In celebration of National Latino/a Heritage Month, which runs September 15 – October 15, the Soup With Substance series will feature The Latin Jazz Project on Thursday (September 15) from Noon to 12:45 p.m. in the West Wing of the Economou Dining Hall.  There will be free soup and a beverage to accompany your entertainment.

The Latin Jazz Project is a well-known and high-quality Western New York jazz band celebrated for their Salsa music.  Come share some refreshment and lively entertainment in the best of Latin musical tradition.

The event is sponsored by Chartwells Dining Services, Latin American Students and Friends (LASAF), and the ALANA Student Center (ASC), which serves African American, Latino/a American, Asian American and Native American communities at Canisius.

Cantio Sacra Open Rehearsal Wednesday (September 14)

CORRECTION:  An open rehearsal for Cantio Sacra will be held Wednesday, September 14 at 1 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel.  Reservations are not necessary.  Cantio Sacra is a small group of recreational singers who meet weekly in Christ the King Chapel every Wednesday at 1 p.m.  Cantio Sacra sings for campus celebrations and service events with a repertoire from Renaissance to modern works.
