A special concert will be held in conjunction with the First Annual Flute Day on Saturday (September 10) at 7 p.m. in Montante Cultural Center. It is free and open to the public.
Presented by the newly-formed Buffalo Flute Club, nationally recognized flutist and composer Michael Colquhoun, PhD, will lead a day of flute-related activities, which will culminate with this concert. The performance features Michael Colquhoun, flutes; and Don Metz; guitar. The concert will be a performance of Colquhoun’s music; which is an eclectic mix of classical, modern and jazz as well as arrangements of jazz standards by the duo.
