Blog Post 1: Settling in at Capello’s Salon

Hi everyone! I am Mo Radeka and I am a social media intern at Capello’s Salon Downtown. We are located at 220 Franklin St. My internship responsibilities include posting on social media and marketing their products and services. Me and my boss have already discussed our tone and branding of the salon. She told me how she wants to reach a younger audience since most of her clients are older. So far we are brainstorming how we can appeal to that audience on social media. The two media outlets that we will be using to reach our target audience are Instagram and TikTok. I think these two platforms will help us grow faster and reach the right audience. We have already made a content calendar to help us stay organized and consistent with our posts. We have also been recording content and order items to make recording our content much more efficient. We already have a TikTok up and that did pretty well. It reached 2,000+ people and 70 people interacted with it.  I am very excited to grow and learn and gain more experience in the social media field with this internship!
