Networking Event at Canisius

The networking event I attended was the HomCOMing at Canisius for DMA/COM/JRN students. The event was held in Science Hall Commons and was attended by previous students, current students, and faculty. I reconnected with my old friends from my DMA classes, like Thomas McBride, and met some new faces, like Nick Veronica. Nick is News 4’s Digital Executive Producer, so it was very cool to learn about his work and experiences. I thought the event was fun and not very stressful, as everyone was very nice and I knew most people who were there. I liked being able to reconnect with people, as well as build new connections. I love going to the HomCOMings, they are one of my favorite experiences in the COM Department!
