Griff Job Fair

For this assignment, I went to the Griff Fair on March 31. I couldn’t stay long because I had to cover a baseball game, but my experience was very nice because there were a lot of super nice and professional people there. Seeing all my fellow students who are graduating and are looking for jobs was definitely surreal because I personally feel my time at Canisius has flown by! The opportunities I find most interesting are definitely in television and broadcasting because as a writer it is something that is a bit outside of anything I have ever done, but I feel capable in doing it. Being able to talk to so many open leaders was great because you can see what makes these people successful; they all started somewhere, and that’s where we’re all at currently. This was my first ever job fair, and I hope to attend a few more because I feel like I learned a lot from this one as well as reading other people’s tips and experiences.
