Hello, my name is Eliyas Aman and I’m a senior in Integrated Marketing Communication major at Canisius. This is my first internship and I’m very excited about what’s in store for me. This semester I will be interning at the Buffalo State Athletic Department.
The internship kicked off for me on the 24th of January and I’m enjoying everything that I’ve done so far. I will be working on Digital Marketing and Social Media. This will help get my feet wet in the Digital Marketing world by having prior experience in the field.
I have settled in perfectly at my internship with my supervisor being helpful with anything I ask of him.
Several tasks were given to me by my internship supervisor for the semester. These include:
- Improve our social media presences on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter,
- Work with the staff on gameday duties as assigned
- Update the buffalostateathletics.com website as needed and other duties as specified by the Head Athletics Director of Communications.)
