Final Reflection

As I look back on my internship over the past semester, the only thing I can think is “wow”. This semester, I took an internship with an up and coming web design studio, Guess Solutions. Their founders are Canisius alumni who specialize in different fields within the business. A major goal of mine when starting this internship was to get better a developing a whole product. Prior to this, I had experience working on pieces of websites and updating older stuff. Now that the internship is coming to a close, I am developing full sites from start to finish. This was great experience for me because while the classroom taught me fundamentals, the internship taught me real world problem solving and deadline management. While I’m excited to see what the next Internship will bring, I think it will be incredibly hard to top this one. I would definitely recommend future students to consider Guess Solutions when thinking about internships.
