Interning at The Boy Scouts of America has been a good experience so far. I interact with a small number of people daily and I have a good working relationship with my supervisors and the other people that work there. It is a very eccentric environment, I feel accepted and it is very hard to be scared or sink into the shadows there. I really feel like I might enjoy myself interning here.
I have already written a press release and helped with the planning of an upcoming event the organization is hosting. I have been getting good feedback about my help with the project so far from my supervisors. I think this is a great opportunity for me and I look forward to the rest of summer.
