This summer, I have the opportunity to be the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus’ Graphic Design Intern! I’m very excited about this experience and it’s only getting started.
On my first day, I had the opportunity to attend the Athena Awards with my co-workers. This is an annual awards ceremony that honors women in the community that are power-house leaders in both their professional lives and in the community. Over 600 people attended this year to see all of the finalists. One of the winners I actually had as a professor at Canisius!
This internship is already looking to be very different than my last one at Gelia, but I’m excited to learn more about the medical field and all that BNMC is doing in Buffalo!
