The End of an Era

Throughout this semester I have experienced a great deal of change. Both academically and personally. However, one of the greatest changes this semester was that of my internship. Being a Human Resource intern at the Heritage Centers was fun, challenging, and often chaotic. I feel as though I gained a sense for how the world of HR really works (hint: there is always something more to do, you’re never “done”) and I am certainly appreciative of that knowledge. I found my experience to be a rewarding one. I met some fantastic people, both coworkers and the individuals that I’ve seen get help from the organization. I also got hands on job experience, which is something that is extremely valuable for a graduating senior like me. This semester is my last at Canisius and in many ways it was my most chaotic, but that by no means I didn’t enjoy it. Be seeing you Canisius.
