It feels a bit unreal that my time with Renoun Creative is coming to an end. Working in such a small space with a few people has made it easy to make genuine connections with those I work with in such a short amount of time. I still believe that I was lucky getting the internship with Renoun Creative because it has given me the chance to work on a variety of different assignments and projects pertaining to graphic design, marketing and web development. Being a smaller company, they tackle many roles unlike bigger companies that usually have more specialized departments within them. I will always be thankful for the great experience I have had working with them, for their honest advice and kind help; they will forever be a fond part of my growth as a designer.
This was my first internship related to my field of study and it has made me better realize what I enjoy doing and what I would like to further explore. Moving forward I have two summer internships lined up with very different companies that I hope to gain even more valuable experience from and further understand what exactly it is I want to do long term. I am excited to begin my next journey and hope that I will forge even more meaningful connections along the way like I have at Renoun Creative.
