Last Wednesday, April 19th, I had the opportunity to attend the American Advertising Federation, or AFF, career panel that was held in Science Hall. The event was called, Meet Your Future: Pro Tips From AAF Buffalo, and it was centered around giving information and advice for students that were pursuing a career in marketing and advertising. I liked that the format of the event centered around getting information and advice from four different professional perspectives, and overall I learned a lot and thought it was very helpful.
I not only got the chance to meet professionals working in the career that I hope to pursue after graduation, but also got the chance to meet other students with similar career goals and hear what questions they had, which helped me as well.
Overall I enjoyed the event and was able to meet new contacts and gain beneficial knowledge about the marketing and advertising world.
