After spending a semester at the Botanical Gardens as a marketing intern, I had the pleasure of learning so much. I was able to learn the back end of the website and given the opportunity to organize it, add information, and pictures. It was weird to see how different it looks on the back end compared to what it looks like to the public. I was also given the opportunity to plan and organize the Easter Egg Hunt for 300 children under the age of 7. This was my favorite part of my semester there. It took me weeks to get every last detail to perfected and ready to go. Overall, I loved the people I got to work with and the more public event experience I gained. I think it will help me in my future because I can now I say I have helped plan events and have worked a wedding which is more event experience I needed.
