Networking with Wedding Vendors

For my networking event, I attended an Open House at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue. I went to this event, on March 11, to help out my supervisor, and it ended up being a wonderful opportunity to meet local business owners, wedding vendors and event planners. Event planning has been one of my favorite aspects of my internship, so to attend this event, with professionals in this field, was a rewarding experience. I met many business owners and I was able to see how they present their business to potential clients and customers. I also benefitted from this because I have a small jewelry business, and it was useful to see other small businesses in action. It was interesting to meet professionals in the wedding industry in Buffalo because I have gained a new interest in weddings while being at my internship and may want to continue in this field. This event was fun because it was relaxed but also extremely useful to meet professionals in a similar career field. There were also amazing desserts provided by The Mansion on Delaware Avenue!
