As I sit at my intern desk writing this blog on my last day it is crazy to think about how fast this experience went by. I have to admit that when I first started my placement, it wasn’t my favorite thing in the world. I remeber counting down the days and say “I can’t beleive I have to come here 26 more times.” And now I just can’t beleive I won’t be sitting in this desk again. It is very bitter sweet. I will no longer be laminating for 2 hours a day, surveying guests that want nothing to do with me, and counting mountains of plastic cups for inventory. But, I will also no longer be learning from these great people that have taught me so much. Throughout this internship I have gained the confidence to take over the social media and marketing at my current job, and this new responibility can lead to so many opportunitys in the future. Everything must come to an end, but only for new adventures to start. As I move on to graduate, my supervisor will be giving birth to her first child and I feel as though there is a mutual pride between us.

Peace out Gardens, it’s been wonderful.
