Networking Event

In the latter portion of November, I attended the Buffalo Spree Girls Night Out event held at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens. I used this event as an opportunity to not only create a video for my internship, but to talk to some people and make some connections. It was a full house that night as the Spree staff mingled with advertisers and guests alike. Over 50 businesses set up kiosks selling everything from jewelry and clothes to food and massages. It was a great night and conversation flowed easily as i spoke to professionals in the magazine industry. I got a few business cards and everyone was eager to give me tips and advice for post-graduation life. I really like that being part of the Spree staff has such advantages. Fun events such as this one occur so often, its a great break from office life.
