Every year, there is a fundraiser that Delaware North puts on to celebrate the past year, as well as raise money for the Albright Knox Art Gallery, the location of the event. This year, the event was titled the “Fields of Color” Gala, which I had the pleasure of helping with. The Jacobs family, board members, and distinguished guests were in attendance. The executive board members were in charge of making the event run smoothly. Tom, head of Delaware North’s event, had every detail planned. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet some wonderful people in the business, as well as people from different departments, other than Human Resources. The only bad thing from it? Because all new employees were hired specifically for the event, I have about 40 new ADF forms and I-9 forms to send in to the home office!
