Accepting a new challenge

Leading up to my first day at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, I was extremely excited, but also nervous. I was excited because I was looking forward to meeting new people and finally getting some real life experience. I was nervous because I would be working with professionals every day and wasn’t sure what they would think of me. So far I have settled in very nicely and I couldn’t be happier interning at the Gardens. In my first few weeks there I have had the opportunity to sit in on two meetings concerning different departments. I was also given the opportunity to make an iMovie, which features a major event, Night Lights at the Gardens. I am looking forward to the remaining weeks at the Gardens and everything I will be given the opportunity to do. I couldn’t imagine myself interning anywhere else.
