ACAC Addresses On-Campus Technology Issues

Did you know that on the first Wednesday of each month a group of faculty and ITS staff get together and discuss things that are of major concern to the entire Canisius community? The group is called Academic Computing Advisory Committee, or ACAC for short.

During these hour-long meetings ITS announces upcoming changes. A member of the group, either from the faculty or ITS, makes a short presentation of general interest to attendees, and the faculty, most importantly, can raise questions or make suggestions that may be implemented by ITS to improve the technology in the college. Members who attend usually will make a short presentation at departmental meetings letting those unable to attend know what was discussed.

All members of the Canisius community are welcome to join us at this very important meeting that effects all folks on campus. You can visit the WordPress Blog and read the minutes from past meetings by clicking here. Hope to see you at our next meeting Wednesday, April 2.
