Campus Candids

Students in the Spanish Conversation (SPA 324) course, taught by Richard Reitsma, PhD, assistant professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies, participate in a dual language immersion via Skype with peer learners at ITESO in Guadalajara, Mexcio, a fellow Jesuit institution. Students spend half the class having an English conversation with the students, then switch to Spanish for the other half.

Softball Home Opener Scheduled for Tuesday

Your Canisius softball team will play its home opener on Tuesday afternoon vs. the University at Buffalo. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex.

Canisius has played its first 22 games on the road, including an 11 game schedule in California during spring break.

Faculty and Staff ITS Demonstrations

Each week, on various days, times, places, and topic, I will make myself available to all faculty and staff to help with, or demonstrate different software or application topics. I’ll post the topic to be offered, the place and time each Monday or Tuesday in The Dome. My first topic will be Checkbox Basics on Tuesday, April 1 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. No registration is required however if you have a laptop please bring one.
