ANGEL is being phased out at the end of May 2014 and is being replaced by Desire2Learn. The FacTS Center, in preparation for the full implementation of Desire2Learn (D2L) in May will be offering workshops during the fall and spring semesters. Dates, times, and registration can be found on the workshop registration site. All workshops will be held in OM-115 and will be hands on.

Workshops will be structured to make the transition logical and as easy as possible. The first week of the month, three identical one-hour sessions will give an overview of D2L and introduce you to navigating the new learning management system and email. The second week will focus on Content and Discussion Forums. Week three will demonstrate Dropboxes and the Gradebook, and week four will introduce quizzes. Attend one session each week for a comprehensive introduction to D2L.

If you have any questions about the transition from ANGEL to D2L, or these workshops please send an email, to Joe Rizzo (rizzo1@canisius.edu), Leah MacVie (macviel@canisius.edu), or Estelle Siener (siener@canisius.edu).
