Tutors Wanted

The COPE office is looking for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as adjunct professors, to work as tutors for our students.

We are in need of tutors for BIO 110 & 111, MAT 105 & 106, ACC 211, PHI 101, and HIS 131. Undergraduates are paid $10 an hour; graduate students are paid $12 an hour and professional tutors receive $15 an hour. Tutoring is flexible and made convenient for both the student and tutor. Soccer DH on Tap for Sunday

Here’s your chance to get a first-hand view of both Canisius soccer teams. The Golden Griffin men and women will host a soccer DH on Sunday that begins at Noon.

The Canisius women will kick off the afternoon’s festivities with a match against the Zips of Akron. At 3 pm, your Golden Griffin men’s team will host Robert Morris.

Tuition Exchange & FACHEX

Tuition Exchange & FACHEX Programs for Fall 2014

Faculty or staff members with a minimum of three years of full-time employment at Canisius College prior to August 2014 that have a dependant that is interested in applying for Tuition Exchange or FACHEX (Jesuit College Exchange) for a Fall 2014 start, please email Sean Hudson in the Office of Financial Aid at hudson2@canisius.edu with the following information by October 31:

  • Dependant’s full name, address, phone number and E-mail address
  • The last four digits of the dependant’s social security number
  • Faculty/staff name, contact information and number of years employed at Canisius
  • Grade level of student at the beginning of the Fall 2014 semester (Freshman, Sophomore, etc)
  • Full names of the schools to have certifications sent to

The Tuition Exchange and FACHEX programs are very competitive and spots are limited. The college cannot guarantee acceptance into either program but early submission is important.
