Interfaith Prayer Room

The Interfaith Prayer Room in the Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library is open to all students, faculty and staff.  It welcomes all religious and non-religious people who wish to take a moment of solitude in the library for prayer or meditation.  We conducted the ribbon cutting last week with students from various faith traditions offering prayer along with some words from Campus Ministry Director Mike Hayes and the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Lawrence from religious studies.  Several members of the faculty and staff were also in attendance.

The room is for everyone and does not serve only one particular denomination but is a space that is open to all traditions and those of no particular tradition.
