Your Canisius hockey team, owners of the nation’s longest winning streak at six games, meets Niagara Friday at 4:05 p.m. in the first of two Atlantic Hockey semifinal contests in Rochester, NY. The games will be played at Blue Cross Arena and tickets are $18.00 for adults and $12.00 for students.

The Griffs are the league’s #7 seed, while Niagara owns the top seed and is ranked 14th nationally. Mercyhurst and U/Conn meet in the second semifinal.

Should Canisius beat Niagara, the Griffs would play for the AHA championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament at 7:05 p.m. Saturday evening.

All of the tournament games will be aired live on Time Warner, and you can listen to the Canisius audio broadcast at www.gogriffs.com.

Canisius advanced to the conference semifinals by sweeping #10 Bentley in the first round and shocking second seeded Air Force in a two game sweep this past weekend.
